GFSN has adopted the Family Pathways Framework (FPF) from our National network partners, the Colorado Family Resource Center Association. This research-informed family support model centers on families establishing a goal-setting partnership with a trained Family Development worker using a strengths-based family-centered approach toward improved family health and well-being. This pathway of a family moving from initial contact with a family support serving organization (Family Resource Center) towards more intensive services, recognizes all families have strengths to build, supports families in recognizing and exercising their power, and promotes access to resources available in their communities.
As we roll out this exceptional asset to our members, we invite your organization to participate in our next cohort of this training. Over 4 weeks your staff will earn their certificate in this family support model and your organization will become eligible for credentialing as a center of quality beginning in 2026.
This cohort of classes are hosted virtually each week . Participants need to attend each week to earn certificate of completion.
The classes are broken down into five essential components:
- Essentials I: Family-Centered Approach & Essentials II: Intake & Screening
- Essentials III: Emergency Services
- Essentials IV: Family Development Services
