Setting a steady pace to improve the lives of Georgia’s families is outlined in the Fiscal Year 2022-23 Annual Report released in December 2023 by Prevent Child Abuse Georgia. A building theme throughout the report highlights capacity, resources, awareness, leadership, and support.
PCA Georgia works to increase public awareness and implementation of programs that prevent child abuse and neglect by developing trainings and connecting families to needed resources.
PCA Georgia builds, supports, and sustains prevention networks and partnerships, including 35 local PCA Georgia councils, Strengthening Families Georgia, Georgia Essentials for Childhood, and the Georgia Family Support Network. The report highlights statistics, but it also provides context for expanded programming and training offerings.
“Leaning into partnerships with organizations, corporations, and individuals helps us to nurture thriving families across the state,” said Executive Director Jennifer Stein. “We are proud of our growing reputation as Georgia’s lead child abuse prevention agency. We look forward to focusing our efforts in 2024 to build an aligned and comprehensive primary prevention ecosystem to benefit all families.”
